For those learners who have no previous experience of working in residential childcare, it is recommended that 400 hours be spent in a Real Work Environment.
How is the course delivered?
Candidates work through an online platform, so there is no need to attend the college to gain the qualification. You will be guided to obtain the resources that contain the knowledge needed to meet the assessment requirements of the course and you can also gain further knowledge through research and practical skills in the workplace. Assessments are based on knowledge and skills. Learners should complete the course within 9 months.
